During my recent stay at a countryside farmhouse, I found the charm of its old-world character quite inviting. Surrounded by well-maintained gardens and wildlife, the serene atmosphere was a welcome escape from the bustling city life of Madrid. While I appreciated the spaciousness of the accommodations-a cozy lounge and attractive dining area-there were essential areas needing attention, particularly the kitchen, which unfortunately had a lingering odor and subpar kitchenware. The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering a warm welcome, which felt reminiscent of a close-knit community. Although the free WiFi was reliable, allowing me to stay connected, the farmhouse is essentially a place meant for those seeking tranquility and simplicity. For a brief, budget-friendly retreat, it provides a comfortable base with nearby cafés for breakfast options, making it a spot worth considering for travelers looking for a little peace and quiet in nature.
